Official highlights government's role to support youths

Luanda - Angolan minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, José Carvalho da Rocha, stressed the Angolan government’s role focussed on
training of young people in the field of Information Technologies.

 
The Cabinet minister said so during a lecture held in Viana municipality, Luanda, under the motto “Access of youth to new innovation and information technologies".
 

Among the government commitment, José Carvalho da Rocha mentioned the existence of training centre at "Quilómetro sete" locality, which runs courses in the fields of information and communication technologies.


The official also referred the opening of a higher Institute of telecommunication in 2013.

 
José Carvalho da Rocha considered the government's commitment to build infrastructures, linked to the telecommunication of information technologies, as a colossal challenge.
