Luanda – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology Wednesday in Luanda announced the suspension of classes at Higher Education in Angola from 9 August and to September 7 this year.

The information is expressed in a note released by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

According to the source, the decision follows the need to change the school break, ahead of election period, under the Executive decree (nº 139/1.02/GAB.MESCT/2012 of  6 July).

Initially, the government had announced the break would cover the period from 15 August to September 7.
