Brazil signs research and science co-operation with Angola

São Paulo – A co-operation agreement in the areas of computer and library sciences was signed last weekend in São Paulo, Brazil, between the Angolan Mediatech Network (REMA) and the São Paulo University (USP).

The document was signed by the Angolan deputy minister for Information Technologies and Executive Co-ordinator of REMA, Pedro Sebastião Teta, and by the Principal of the USP, João Grandino Rodas.

The agreement aims to promote an interchange involving teachers, researchers, graduation and post-graduation students, as well as administrative and technical cadres who work in libraries.

Meanwhile, last Friday the USP signed with the Angolan Technical University (Utanga) an academic co-operation agreement in mutual interest areas for interchange.
