Luanda - The State secretary for Science and Technology, João Sebastião Teta, Tuesday in Luanda said that his institution is still working to identify, register and provide the necessary support to Angolan inventors/creators.
João Sebastião Teta provided the information while speaking at the close of the 4th edition of the Angolan Inventor/Creator Fair held in this capital from 23 to 26 June.
During four days, he said, were exposed several works from the areas of electricity, electronics, computers, mechanics, physics, including the arts where he witnessed the good level of exhibited works.
Nearly 20,000 visitors witnessed in place what is done about invention and creation in Angola, as nearly 70% of visitors were young and 90% of exhibitors are also young people.
According to him, this percentage leaves the Ministry of Higher Education and Science and Technology (MESCT) satisfied since it is a great indicator of the importance that youth confers science, technology and innovation, success factors for building a modern society and economically competitive.
"We believe that nationwide there are other creators with beautiful ideas, so we will continue to work in this path to identify them and provide them with necessary support," he said.
