OMA wants more women in ICTs

Luanda – The secretary general of the ruling MPLA party’s women wing (OMA), Luzia Inglês Van-Dúnem, Friday in Luanda urged the members of her organisation to show more and more interest to know the Information and Communication Technologies sector.

 
Luzia Inglês Van-Dúnem was speaking at the colloquium on “The importance of the new Information and Communication Technologies.”


She on the occasion said the interest can be showed through meetings like the one they were attending, lectures and other training and informative programmes.

 
According to OMA official, this will make the organisation’s members more and more active and updated regarding the changes in the ICTs sector.
 

The event that was presided over by the deputy minister of Telecommunication and Information Technologies, Pedro Sebastião Teta, MPs, Government members, OMA officials and guests.

 
The event was part of the March-Woman programme and of the celebrations of OMA’s 50th anniversary.
