Luanda – The minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Maria Cândida Teixeira, last Friday in Luanda informed that, in the year 2012, her institution will press for the approval the statute for university lecturers, among other things.

 
Maria Cândida Teixeira, who was speaking at the yearend greetings ceremony with her staff, revealed that the mentioned diploma has already been submitted to the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security (MAPESS) for analysis and approval.

She also said her institution will also be focussing on matters related to the status of scientific researchers, as well as the fees that are paid in higher education institutions.

 
According to the minister, her department will be holding methodological meetings by area of knowledge, as well as regularly supervise the functioning of higher education institutions.
