Official recalls information technology benefits

Luanda – The emergence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) will bring benefits to the population and speed up the Movement of reforms, said Thursday, the director of legal office of Ministry of  Telecommunications and Information Technologies (MTTI)

 

Carlos Baptista made these statements while speaking at the opening ceremony of the10th Festivities of Civil Service, under the motto “The Role of Information and Communication Technologies in Modernisation of Civil Services", taking place in Luanda.


 
According to the official, the prompt services will be evident in the relation between the citizen and administrative machine as well as the coordination among different government departments.


 
To the jurist, the use of  ICT to speed up and make administration more efficient and effective, constitutes the goal of the so called “Electronic Governance”.
