Angola and Luxembourg to cooperate in telecommunications

Luanda - Angola and Luxembourg  have expressed the intention to strenghten bilateral cooperation on telecommunications, namely in satellite and data center management during the meeting between the angolan deputy telecommunications minister, Pedro Teta, and the minister of the economy and external trade of Luxembourg, Jeannot Krecké.


Pedro Teta stated that Luxembourg has been cooperating with Angola on Data Center adding that Angola is now building its first Data Center and is planning to build a second one in Camama outskirts, in Luanda.


He said that, with 40 satellites and 16 Data Centers, Luxembourg can be an added value in the training of angolan experts and announced the sending of a team of four technicians of the ministry of telecommunications and information technologies to Luxembourg in January 2011 to identify concrete areas of cooperation. 
  

The visiting Luxembourg minister said that cooperation with Angola will enable the country's development on telecommunications.

 
In its first mission to Angola, the Luxembourg delegation is made up by businessmen of several companies represented worldwide.
