Angolan Telecommunication Ministry to expand in 2010

Luanda - Angolan minister of the Telecommunication and Information Technology, José Carvalho da Rocha, said Wednesday in Luanda the sector he leads intends to complete the first phase of the project under its rogramme to increase its basic conditions and outline the second phase next year.

 

José Carvalho da Rocha said that a special attention will be paid to the telecommunication company, Angola Telecom, under the Government programme.


According to the minister, among the important duties for 2010 are the conclusion of the White Book on Information Technology and Communication, its approval and practice.


Concerning the telecommunications, the sector expects to reach at least 7.9 million customers using the mobile service.
