Country to gain Science, Technology Museum

Luanda - The Science and Technology minister, Maria Cândida Teixeira, Friday in Luanda pldged the creation, in 2010, of a museum of Science and Technology and of three technological parks in Uige, Huambo and Luanda.


Addressing the press, at the end of the new year greeting ceremony, Cândida Teixeira also announced the institution of awards for science and innovation and the construction of a new building for the ministry. 


She announced the implementation of a fund for research projects and of technical career and for training of cadres stating that these actions will boost research activities in the country, such as in universities and in the public health and fisheries institute.  


"We will continue to close ties with all scientists in different fields of research, such as in teaching and education so as in public and private institutes" the minister stressed.
