Luanda – The Angolan and South Korean ministries of environment signed in Seoul, a memorandum of understanding in environmental protection and conservation of natural resources.
The agreement, signed by the Angolan minister Maria de Fátima Jardim and South Korea’s Yu Young-Sook, aims at developing cooperation in medium term in the domains of environment management, conservation of nature, study and evaluation of environmental impacts, transfer of technologies and environmental consultation based on equality of benefits.
The legal instrument is part of the application of the general agreement of economic and technical-scientific cooperation signed between Angola and South Korea on July 2 of 1993.
