Minister hails clean energies production challenges in Angola

Rio de Janeiro – With the conquest of peace in 2002, Angola continues to invest in the significant increase of production rate of clean energies.

This was said so on Monday in Rio de Janeiro by the Minister of Environment, Fátima Jardim, while speaking in co-operative forum of sustainability, in Brazil, on the fringes of UN summit on sustainable development dubbed Rio+20.


The official also said that the mentioned rate has already overcome the figure of 25 per cent in 2011.


She said that the executive has drafted projects and programmes aimed to increase clean energies, such as the recovery of dams and construction of mini-dams.
