Luanda – An Angolan delegation with the Ministry of Environment, led by the incumbent minister, Fátima Jardim, left this Sunday for Brazil, to attend Rio+20 Summit, set for 20-22 June.
The meeting aims for Environmental Networks of the Portuguese Speaking Countries Community (CPLP) to discuss and create strategies for the preservation of the environment.
At this time, the meeting of experts from various countries of the world is taking place in Brazil and it precedes the UN Summit on Sustainable Development Rio+20.
The event will reflect on programmes of forest resettlement, wastes management, adaptation plan to climate changes at the level of CPLP’s Environmental Networks.
Rio+20 conference will be attended by heads of state and government.
