Ministry unveils environmental technologies strategic plan

Luanda – The Ministry of Environment Friday in Luanda unveiled its environmental technologies strategic plan, Angop learned here.


The plan was presented by the deputy minister of Environment, Syanga Abílio, during the cycle of conferences on “Oil sector as a factor of environmental damages,” under the International Fair on Environmental Technologies taking place in Luanda until Sunday, June 3.

 
On the occasion, Syanga Abílio highlighted the importance of the said strategic plan as an added value in the reduction of the damages caused to the environment and efficiency in the use of natural resources.

 
He mentioned that there are several environment-friendly technologies that can be used in Angola, like those being used in the pilot projects in the sectors of urbanisation and construction, agriculture and forests, industry, energy, oil and transports.
