Angola at 24th conference on Montreal Protocol Parties

 

Luanda – The Secretary of State for Environment for Environmental New Technologies and Environmental Quality, Syanga Abílio, will represent the country in the 24th Conference of Montreal Protocol Parties on Ozone Layer Destroying Substances, taking place on 12-16 November in Geneva (Switzerland).

 

 
Angola, which chairs the assembly of this protocol since November 2011, will hand over the presidency to another country lead the forum of the parties, which intended to be attended by the representatives of the member countries.

 


During the meeting, Syanga Abílio will speak about the implementation of Montreal Protocol in Angola and its recommendations of the 23rd Conference.

 


The Angolan delegation will also be represented by the national director for Environmental Technologies, António Matias and other senior employees.
