Luanda - Angolan Executive continues making efforts to further stimulate the implementation of environmental technology programmes, mainly in the economic sector, for a greener future in Angola.
This was said Friday in Luanda by the deputy minister of Environment, Syanga Abílio.
The Government official was speaking during debates on “Environmental Technologies”, under the National Environment Week celebrated on 31 January.
On the occasion, he highlighted the importance or technologies that promote sustainable development.
To the deputy minister, promotion of the environmental technologies in various sectors of Angola’s economic affairs is part of the policies and strategies, as well as education and society’s awareness raising.
He recalled that the Environment Ministry has already elaborated a strategic plan on environmental technologies for the 2012-2017 period, where promotion and education are defined and implemented in many sectors.
