Luanda – Agriculture deputy minister for Forests, André de Jesus Moda, travelled Monday to Lunda Norte Province, to analyse forest programmes in the region.
In an interview to Angop at 4 de Fevereiro Airport, André Moda explained that the visit aims at analysing the implementation of forest policies, already assessed by the Cabinet Council and that are being implemented in the 18 provinces of the country.
The minister stated that the programme aims at replenishing the forests with more plants, in areas where trees were cut down, the rational exploration of forest resources, as well as better use of their profit.
During his stay in the province, the minister will accompany exploration of forest resources in the province, for better evaluation of the population behaviour and its economic agents in exploring this environment.
