The event, promoted by the Ministry of Environment in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), European Community (EC) and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), aims to equip participants with issues on the environmental sanitation, targeting the well-being in communities.

The representative of the Ministry of Environment, Antonio de Meneses said the event marks the beginning of the implementation and execution of the programme “Total Sanitation Led by Community”, which initially will be implemented in five provinces of Angola, particularly Bié, Cunene, Moxico Luanda and Huíla.
