Deputy minister praises Environmental Education Programme

Luanda – The vice minister of Environment, Sianga Abilio, highlighted Thursday, in Viana district, Luanda the importance of Environmental Education Programme, promoted by the provincial department of education. 


   
At the opening ceremony of the programme, chaired by the governor of Luanda, Francisca do Espírito Santo, the government official said that the training and environmental awareness projects are also part of the concerns of his ministry, seeking a serious and comprehensive strategy and implementation of the National Programme of Environmental Management. 


     
According to the minister, with the launch of this programme to all schools, it will speed up the environmental education programme, stressing that environmental issues are cross-cutting concern not only the Ministry of Environment, but all institutions, sectors and companies. 


     
During the event was presented the environmental education programme to the representatives of primary schools in the province and managers, strategies used and objectives, adhesion of schools.
