Expert calls on citizens for changing of behaviour


Luanda – An environmentalist and expert from the Environment Ministry urged the citizens to change their behaviour toward the social environment in order to avoid the increase of global warming.

 


Lucas Miranda said this Wednesday during lecture addressed to the scores of vendors at “Roque Santeiro” market in Sambizanga district, Luanda.

 


The expert advised the citizens to avoid the excessive use of coal, because this oblige the tree cutting, dumping of solid residues in inappropriate sites and fire, in order to improve the environment.

 


The lecturer also advised the residents to build septic tanks and avoid stagnant water in front of doors.

 


Held by NGO “Vida pela Vida”, the event was in the light of the 31 January, National Environment Day and 04 February, date of the beginning of national armed struggle.
