Menongue – The construction of a residential area for youths in the south-eastern Kuando Kubango Province, which started in January 2008 in the framework of the Angola Youth Programme, will be concluded in November 2009, ANGOP learnt at the site.

The infrastructure is located in the peripheral zone of Menongue District and comprises an area of 160 square metres which consists of the building of 48 three-bed-room houses.

According to the head of the provincial department for Youth and Sports in Kuando Kubango, Augusto Chamba, the work is going well and 16 houses are in the conclusion phase and they will be handed over to the local authorities in April.

 
The construction work is under the responsibility of an Angolan company.
