Lubango – The train with Moçâmedes Railways (CFM) are expected to start in August.

This was said to the press on Tuesday in the southern Huila province by the CEO of Moçâmedes Railways, Daniel Quipaxe, during the inauguration act of 17 new railway stations in the provinces of Huila and Kuando Kubango, by the Transport Ministers, Augusto Tomás.

According to him, the circulation of the train will enable greater transportation of agricultural products and people.

He said that the circulation of train will also make easy the activities of small and medium entrepreneurs in the transportation of their products with cheap prices.

The inaugurations were part of the Government’s effort to increase the supply of railway transports in that region of the country.

The construction of the stations follows an investment under the global strategy of the country’s economic and social development.
