Governor assesses new housing project

Sumbe - The provincial governor of Kwanza Sul province, Serafim do Prado, Thursday learnt of the progress of construction of the new centrality of Sumbe, in the locality of the former Carvalho, 15 kilometers north off city of Sumbe.


Speaking to the press at the end of the visit, Serafim Maria do Prado said the visit falls within the program that the local government has been engaged in several social projects in construction in the province.


He added that the aim is to make people live with dignity and help address the housing shortage that exists today.


He said the expectation is to make the Angolans have a home in conditions and make the slums begin to disappear in order to facilitate the lives of all citizens.
