Government threatens to sue contractors for breaches


 

Cabinda - The provincial government of Cabinda ponders to sue for contract breach, the contractors with delayed works in the region.

 
The hypothesis was advanced Wednesday in Landana, Cacongo municipal headquarter by the deputy governor for the economic sector, Romao Macario Lembe, during his supervision visit to social projects ongoing in the district.
 

He pointed as an example, the company AJEC, contracted to build the system of collection, treatment and distribution of drinking water in the municipal headquarter, which despite having received the full amount agreed abandoned the enterprise for more than two years.

 
Macario Lembe made it clear that the management of the company will be called on to explain the reasons for the abandonment of the work, noting that if not compelling the government may implement other measures in order to find a quick solution.
