Menongue – The Minister of Urbanisation and Construction, Fernando da Fonseca, said on Tuesday the roads recently rehabilitated in the eastern Kuando Kubango province will boost the development of the region.

Speaking to the press in Menongue after the inaugural act of the roads Menongue/Caiundo, Menongue/Cuchi and Menongue/Rio Cuelei, the minister said that the rehabilitation of these infrastructures will boost the re-structuring and development of the local economy.

“The roads that we are building today serve all people, ensure peace and success of a united and indivisible nation”, said the minister.

According to him, the citizens of these localities buy various goods and seek academic training in Menongue city.

He said that Kuando Kubango province has resolved the problem of the local main roads.

The official appealed the drivers and population in general to conserve the roads and other infrastructures being built and rehabilitated by the government.
