Luanda-Viana highway gets final layer of asphalt

Luanda - Part of the Luanda/Viana highway, is benefiting from the final layer of asphalt concrete in order to ensure safety and convenience for the users, Angop learnt Wednesday in Luanda.

The action, covering the downward stretch of Central Supply Base of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and "Estatua do Motoirista", started in June and will allow the placement of the new vertical and horizontal signals.

Luanda/Viana highway, under construction since 2007, has an area of almost 30 km, having finished parts with proper signals.

The project is part of the intervention of Angolan Government to rehabilitate the structural and tertiary roads of Luanda.
