Meeting of ministers to enable implementation of infrastructures

Luanda - The meeting of heads of the infrastructures sector with SADC will enable the development of a strategic framework that will lead the region, on Wednesday here said the director of the Maritime and Ports Institute of Angola.

Victor de Carvalho said so to ANGOP on the fringes of the meeting of experts with the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) which precedes the meeting of ministers of the organisation.

He said that the selection and definition of the projects will be done in a structured manner, focusing in the materialisation of the regional integration process.

The source also said that during the meeting were also debated matters linked to the master plan of development of the region’s infrastructures.

The SADC infrastructures, explained the source, are mainly linked to sectors such as transports, telecommunications and information technologies, urbanisation and construction, as well as hotels and tourism.
