Luanda -The coordinator of the Technical Office of Urban Upgrading of the Luanda’s high density districts of Cazenga and Sambizanga, Bento Soyto, Wednesday here welcomed the implementation of the first phase of the project whose technical infrastructures have been created.

The official told Angop that the assessment is positive, having announced the construction of eight buildings with 16 apartments each in Cazenga district.

As to Sambizanga, Bento Soyto said the construction of houses will start in the coming days. He noted that the works of the infrastructures have already been completed.

The official spoke of the interaction with the residents through the Office’s site and facebook for the gathering of contributions to the implementation of the Steering Plan.

Contributions can be made on the website www.facebook.com/luandanorte and www.facebook.com/sambizangacazengaerangel, the official stated.

In Sambizanga district, the first phase of the urban upgrading covers over 20 hectares, whereas in Cazenga it reaches 50 hectares.

The  Sambizanga and Cazenga development projects foresee the construction of wastewater and drinking water stations, including water reservoirs.
