Luanda - The resumption of maritime passenger transport will help clear traffic in the country's capital, said the provincial director of Traffic and Mobility of Luanda, Jorge Bengue.
Speaking Wednesday to ANGOP, the official said that the Angolan Government, through the Ministry of Transport, is committed to the maritime passenger transport in order to tackle the mobility of traffic in Luanda.
"We have a very extensive coastline that can be used as a route for ferrying of people from the south and north of Luanda to the city centre," he said.
According to the official, the issue is being jointly analysed with other measures at the level of road and railway sectors.
