Huambo – A plan for construction of more than 800 economic houses on the land reserves of Chicala Cholohanga municipality, central Huambo province, was unveiled Friday here, Angop learned.
The information was released by the provincial director for Urbanisation, Ana Paula de Carvalho, who said the project that is set to start in the coming six months, is still open to technical adjustments.
According to the official, the area will accommodate more than 4,800 inhabitants, under a plan designed to reduce housing shortage.
In his turn, Huambo deputy governor, Henrique Barbosa, said the components like water and sewer networks, as well as residual waters treatment stations including in the project are innovating.
