Kuito – The first houses of the "Minha Casa, Meu Sonho” project will be ready end of this month, revealed Tuesday in Kuito City, central Bié province, the assistant director of the Kora Angola contractor, Israel Bocolo.
The “Minha Casa, Meu Sonho” (My House, My Dream) project is to build a total of 7000
houses.
Speaking to ANGOP, Israel Bocolo said the first stage of the project should finish next June
with the construction of 500 houses, in the framework of a partnership between the Angolan
government and the mentioned contractor.
In Bié Province, Kora Angola will build 6000 houses in Kuito Municipality and 1000 in
Andulo Municipality.
Israel Bocolo also revealed that the project includes the construction of health centres,
parking-lots, kindergartens, shops, schools, churches, police stations, among other
infrastructures, in an area of 180 hectares.
He informed that the model of the houses is similar to those found in Brazil, Israel, Holland and Denmark.
