Cazenga facelift programme implemented by 45 percent

Luanda- The construction of infrastructures under the urban Re-qualification programme of Cazenga district in Luanda is implemented in 45 per cent.

This was said to Angop on Wednesday by the co-ordinator of the re-qualification projects of the Ministry of Urbanisation and Construction, Hugo Azancot Mendes.

According to him, the works in progress since 2012 comprise the construction of water supply networks and residual water drainage systems, among others.

Moreover, the source said that the works also include the setting up of pavements, public lighting and road signs.

To him, this project reflects on the efforts made by the Angolan government, in the ambit of the big and good social housing projects, aimed to accommodate the Angolans.
