Dundo - The rehabilitation of national roads 180, linking Saurimo (eastern Lunda Sul province) to Dundo (Lunda Norte) and 225, between Xá Muteba roundabout, through Cuango as far as Dundo city, will start in March this year, Angop has learnt Wednesday.

According to the director of the Studies and Planning Office of Lunda Norte government, Francisco Munana, who was speaking at the end of the first ordinary session held by the local government, due to various reasons the works will start in March, when the rain starts decreasing in the region.  

Francisco Munana assured that to accelerate the repair of Dundo/Saurimo road, the work will be divided into three contractors, while the other will be in charge of a single building company.  

During the meeting, the officials of local government analysed the provincial programme for 2012, comprising various actions, with stress to resumption of rehabilitation works at Dundo airport, secondary and tertiary roads.

The event was chaired by the governor of eastern Lunda Norte province, Ernesto Muangala.
