State secretary evaluates Malanje city's infrastructures

Malanje - The secretary of state for Construction, Joanes André, on Friday worked in the city of Malanje so as to assess the implementation of the programme of integrated infrastructures.


Soon after his arrival in Malanje, the official was briefed by the deputy provincial governor for the technical and infrastructures sector, Conceição Cristovão, on the projects of building and rehabilitating the outskirts of Malanje, roads, street lighting, basic sanitation, water and telecommunication.


By assessing his work in the northern Malanje province, Joanes André said that the visit enabled him to observe in loco the implementation of the aforesaid programme.


The state secretary visited for some hours the suspended works at the Faculty of Medicine, Amilcar Cabral and 15 de Agosto Street, the Kizenga cemetery and attended the ceremony of laying the corner stone for the construction of the city's courthouse.
