Official points out solutions to Luena gorges

 

Luena - Contacts are being made with authorities of the Ministry of
Urbanisation and Construction to stop the ravines damaging the outskirts of Luena city,
eastern Moxico province, said recently here the local deputy governor for Technical Affairs
and Infrastructures , Manuel Lituai.


According to the official, the provincial government is working with the Ministry of
Urbanisation and Construction to settle the problem and thus restore tranquillity among the
residents, especially those from Aço ward, which is the most affected area.
 

Aço ward is one of the areas most affected by the erosive phenomenon, with more than 10
houses destroyed.
