Luanda - The restructuring of streets and avenues of Luanda, based in the repair of pavements, kerbs, street lighting, landscaping and gardening, is improving the safety of pedestrians, as well as the image of the capital city, ANGOP learnt recently.
Taking place since 2008, repair works are being carried out in several avenues, namely Revolução de Outubro, Ho Chi Min, Pedro de Castro Van Dúnem "Loy", Deolinda'Rodrigues, Murtala Mohammed and Comandante Gika.
About 280 metres of Ho Chi Min/Girassol Clinic roadway took new concrete pavement, painted walls, street lighting and the reconstruction of the street which leads to Alvalade ward.
The restructuring of main roads in Luanda City is an initiative of the provincial government of Luanda and is part of the campaign dubbed “Luanda, all of us together it is possible”.
