Luanda - The car traffic in the central area of Luanda city has improved significantly with the entry into operation of new traffic lights, installed under the restructuring project of the capital city's roads, which runs since 2008.
ANGOP learnt Wednesday that traffic on the avenues 21 Janeiro, Amilcar Cabral, Primeiro Congresso do MPLA, Deolinda Rodrigues and Primeiro de Maio square, since the beginning of the year, has been more fluid due to traffic lights installed across these routes.
According to the project manager, Mark Rohrbacher, the contract job comprises also the installing of luminous signs, clocks and electronic display for pedestrians.
