Luanda - The second phase of the works of reconstruction of Luanda city’s roads that started in January this year, is scheduled to end early in 2011 with the rehabilitation of sidewalks, painting of kerbs, street lighting, landscaping and gardening, Angop learned from a local source.
According to the official of the contractor carrying out the venture, Marcos Rohrbacher, the works are those underway at Revolução de Outubro avenue, 1º de Maio square, Comandante Gika street and Cape island.
The first Luanda city’s street and avenues maintenance works started in 2008 and included Deolinda Rodrigues, Ho Chi Minh, I Congress, Amilcar Cabral, Pedro de Castro Van-Dúnen and Portugal roads.
