Malanje - The premises of Luanda Railway (CFL), under rehabilitation since 2005, will be officially handed over to its owner in the end of the year.
The announcement was made Wednesday in Malange City by the CFL’s CEO, Osvaldo Lobo do Nascimento, while speaking to the press at the end of the second experimental trip of the train across the Luanda/Malanje section.
According to the official, he received this assurance from the contractor firm, after the signing of a handover memo.
The undertaking has more than 10 stations, each with two floors, comprising the administrative area, restaurant, clinic, workshop, meeting room, offices, bathrooms, standing-room with the capacity for 200 and 500 persons, residences for officials, ticket offices, lines control office, parking, among others.
According to Lobo do Nascimento, these infrastructures are all equipped.
