Second phase of "Nova Vida" project starts

Luanda  – The Angolan minister of Urbanism and Construction, José da Silva Ferreira, led this Tuesday, in Luanda, the activity that marked the begin of the second phase of the project “Nova Vida” (New Life), planned to build at least 2,562 houses for civil servants.

 
On the occasion, the minister paid a visit on the area where will be implemented the new urbanization, included in the project “Nova Vida”, equal to 480 hectares, as well as the future building of the Justice Palace.

 
According to José Ferreira, the project was approved to benefit mainly civil servants and everything will be done to conclude it until the year of 2011.
 

The first houses will be given to those who had already paid either with their money or through bank loan and did not yet receive the houses.
 

The contract of the second phase of Nova Vida project was signed last Friday and is planned to build the houses within 18 months.
