Luanda - At least 5 million US dollars will be invested this year by Fortaleza Contractor firm, a company associated to Gema group for the manufacturing of construction material, in order to increase its daily production capacity and therefore meet the demand of products at the national market, ANGOP has learnt.
Speaking to ANGOP on Thursday, the company’s manager, Simão Júnior, said that the investment is driven by strong market competition and increasing demand for construction materials.
“The amount will be used to purchase of a stone-breaker to increase the production capacity of construction materials at Caxito Crushing unit, from 200 tons per hour to 40 tons/month, and purchase of equipment such as tractors, water tanks and cement mixers, for Viana’s concrete factory”, he said.
Located at the industrial zone of Viana District (Luanda), the company produces per hour 70 cubic meters of concrete and 8,000 bricks per day.
