Luanda
Experts analyse urban renting policies

Luanda - A meeting to analyse the bill on urban renting brought together on Friday in Luanda, local and foreign experts seeking to modernise and update the law on real estate in the country.

The meeting, an initiative of the Ministry of Urbanism and Construction, aimed at gathering suggestions to enrich the project content and provide the most appropriate solutions to secure the success in the enforcement of the law.

Speaking to Angop on the sidelines of the event, the lecturer, Teodoro Bastos, said that the draft law has remained unchanged since 1961, thus being outdated and needing changes.

The draft law on urban renting will be examined by the legislative body, after the evaluation and inclusion of suggestions to the project.

The deadline for submission of suggestions for the project is set to March 30.
