Luanda – The Ministry of Urbanisation and Housing pointed out as priority for 2010 the implementation, as from February, of the second phase of the housing project dubbed “Nova Vida”.
This priority was announced in a session of the board council of the ministry of Urbanisation and Housing, which analysed the programme of activities for the first quarter of 2010.
According to a final document received by ANGOP last Tuesday, in this period the National Housing Institute will assess the real estate transfer process and the division of parcels and registration of possible residents of the area.
In the meeting, which was chaired by the incumbent minister, José dos Santos da Silva Ferreira, the launching of the programme on promotion of social interest housing was also defended as priorities.
The document underlines that it was analysed the need of re-establishing contacts with the Ministry of Brazilian Cities aimed at materialising an accord of bilateral co-operation in the field of urbanisation and housing.
The programme regarding the celebration of the World Habitat day and the participation of Angola, in March, in the 5th World Urban Forum in Brazil were also analysed at the meeting, in which the urbanisation and housing minister swore in Daniel Barros Quintã as the consultant of the office of the deputy minister of the sector, António Flôr.
The activity counted on the presence of the Urbanisation and Housing deputy ministers António Flôr and Joaquim Silvestre, directors of studies and planning, legal office, international exchange offices, among other employees of the institution.
