Road traffic at Kwanza river bridge suspended

Luanda  - Road traffic on the bridge over Kwanza river, at the locality of “Barra do Kwanza”, northern Bengo province, will be suspended Thursday and Saturday for maintenance.

 

The information is contained in a press note from the Institute of Roads of Angola (INEA) that reached Angop on Tuesday.

 

According to the source, road traffic will be suspended between 10:00 am and 02:00 pm on Thursday, whereas on Saturday the bridge will be out of service from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm and 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm the same day.

 

The note states that the work is part of the country’s road management programme that involves maintenance and conservation of road infrastructures carried out by INEA.


 
The release appeals to all users of the road to abide by the restrictions and indications from traffic police officers on the spot.
