Luanda, – The Angolan minister of Public Works, Higino Carneiro, on Friday appealed for a greater investment of Argentineans in Angola, mainly in the sectors of Agriculture, trade, industry, construction equipment, housing and the creation of industrial
zones.
Speaking at the first session of the Angola/Argentina Bilateral Commission, held in Buenos Aires, the Angolan government official stated that Argentina is an important partner not just for its development, which is one of highest in the world, but also for the cultural characteristics of its people, which can easily adapt to the Angolan values, which allow perfect partnerships not only in the economic filed, but also in the cultural domain.
According to the minister, the Angolan government is aware that the success of every socio-economic development perspective of the country needs to acknowledge aspects like the diversification of the relations held with the world.
Higino Carneiro highlighted the holding of the event, by referring that it represents an expression of reciprocal desire of the two countries to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation.
The Argentinean delegation at the meeting was headed by the federal minister of Planning and Public Investments, Julio de Vido.
