Administrator calls for collaboration to restructure Maianga district

Luanda – The administrator of Maianga district, Manuel Marta, Friday here urged local residents to collaborate in the restructuring works carried out in the districts’ wards, which will contribute towards the wellbeing of its citizens.


Speaking to ANGOP, the official said that there are local citizens who are hindering the rehabilitation works being carried out on streets of Cassenda quarter by parking vehicles and placing other objects where the works are underway.


“For this purpose, he added that a meeting with residents has already been held, but similar actions continue happening in the area, therefore he stressed the need for residents to understand that the works will benefit the whole community", he added. 


According to Manuel Marta, the government intends to grant better housing conditions to residents by providing appropriated basic sanitation, and there the collaboration of residents is crucial.
