New stadiums architecture highlighted

Luanda - The Angolan architect, Rubem Filipe Sofulano, Tuesday in Luanda considered the architectonic feature of the new stadiums built to host the African Football Cup of Nations (CAN2010) of January, as having a great level of quality.

Speaking to Angop, the architect stressed that the new stadiums can stand at the same level as European football fields which contain qualified and modern architectonic design.

In this regard, Rubem Filipe Sofulano pointed out the Camama stadium, in Luanda, highlighting that the undertaking gives the impression of immensity due to the profile and modern material used for its construction.

“The comfort presented by the new stadiums illustrates the commitment of government in seeking to organise a successful competition that can dignify the national and African sport”, he highlighted.
