Conference discusses language in national reconstruction

Luanda  – The Portuguese language in the economic cooperation and Angola’s reconstruction is the theme for a conference taking place Wednesday on the presmises of the Porgutuese ambassy in Luanda.

The conference taking place on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of Visabeira Angola, will be lectured by jurist Carlos Feijó, the ex-Portuguese Foreign minister, António Monteiro, and co-director of “Mackinsey e Company”, Thilo Mannhardt.

According to organisers, the Portuguese speaking bloc, represented by addressers from Angola, Portugal and Brazil, has the assumption that each of those countries has its development and sustainable growth based on culture, in general and on the language, in particular, as economic operators within the European Union, Merco-sul and SADC.
