Police Chief Recognises Officers' Engagement in Elections

Huambo, – The general commander of the National Police, general commissioner Ambrósio de Lemos, this Tuesday recognised, in central Huambo province, the work carried out by officers during the September 05 legislative elections.

 

The top police officer expressed this acknowledgement at the closing ceremony of the course of new officers of the provincial command of Huambo.

 

According to him, the trainees should opt for a good attitude, strictness and excellent professional conduct.

 

The eight-month course counted on the participation of 869 personnel.

 

At the occasion, the police general commander promoted seven superintendents, 12 sub-superintendents, 25 inspectors, nine aspirants, 17 first sergeants and 15 second sergeants.
