Election body confirms MPLA, its list head as polls winners

Luanda- Angola’s People Liberation Movement (MPLA) party was declared today in Luanda, winner of the general elections of 2012, while the head of its list, José Eduardo dos Santos, was proclaimed President of the Republic, and the second of list, Manuel Vicente, vice president, after publication of the definitive results of the poll by the National Electoral Commission.
